Brian: You bet I am.
Jennifer: I don’t understand why you are upset about my kissing Romeo. (~)
Rachel: Is that why you’re here, to tell me how bitter you are…
Rochelle: … I am here for answers and you’re going to give them to me. (~)
Widlin: He just wouldn’t listen--
Devon: What are you saying?
Widlin: He turned violent. He got violent towards me.
***Devon: What kind of sick game are you playing?
Widlin: (emotionally stirred) Oh, it’s no game. Your brother got violent towards me, a fact I’ve been trying to forget, but you want the truth and now you’re going to get it. (Devon looks on ominously upon receiving her response)
Juliet: (stepping off the dance floor) Wow! Talk about passing the time, that was the last thing I expected.
Darron: Well, I had to show you that there are much more positive things to do in life.
Juliet: Yeah, well, I think you did. I haven’t felt this much thirst for life since-- well, in a long time.
Darron: Then my goal has been achieved, though I don’t think you had much of a chance once I got you out there on that dance floor.
Juliet: (sarcastic grin) Ah, you’re modest, too?
Darron: Only when I know I got it. (they both laugh)

Anton: Hey, thanks for meeting me here.
Dylan: Well, it sounded pretty urgent over the phone, is there something wrong?
Anton: I guess it depends on the way you look at it.
Dylan: I’m not sure I follow.
Anton: Well, that’s because there’s something I haven’t told you and its something you need to know.
Dylan: This sounds serious.
Anton: It is, very much so and I think you might want to sit down.

Romeo: That was nice of your friend to give us some alone time, although I wished he didn’t feel the urgency to storm out of here.
Jennifer: (not amused) Cut the innocent act, it doesn’t suit you and I’m sure as hell ain’t buying it. You came here deliberately set out to cause trouble just like you did the night you staged that kiss with me in front of Brian.
Romeo: Do you really think so little of me? What would I have to gain by playing with your little friend’s mind?
Jennifer: Maybe you have this weird notion that with Brian out of the way, you’d have a better chance at winning me back and if so, you’re deluding yourself.
Romeo: Are you sure you’re not the one trapped in a fantasy world? (Jennifer scoffs with a glint in her eye)

Rachel: What do you mean you came here for answers?
Rochelle: It means I want the truth from you mother, it’s time you restore your debt to me.
Rachel: What debt are you talking about?
Rochelle: Seven years of abandonment and how it’s connected to Leo Stone.
Rochelle: Like you don’t know, he’s only the man you abandoned your entire family for. Are you going to lie about it even now?
Rachel: How did you find out?
Rochelle: Does it matter? Was my father really not enough for you?
Rachel: That is not fair.
Rochelle: Neither is leaving your family behind because of your own selfish desires.
Rachel: That is not what happened.
Rochelle: No, you gave birth to your lover’s twin sons first and then latched yourself onto my father.

Jennifer: I think you’re the only one in a fantasy world if you think after five years you can just waltz back into my life as if nothing has changed.
Romeo: I have no disillusions, I’m well aware that things have changed, but I also believe that we too have grown with that change.
Jennifer: (jerking her head left then right as she grins and states adamantly) You haven’t changed, you’re still the same old Romeo.
Romeo: How would you even know? Have you given me one iota of a chance since I arrived-- (Jennifer’s grin fades, realizing the validity of his claim in that moment) No, because you’re afraid I will prove you wrong?
Jennifer: No, that is not it at all. You are right about one thing, I have grown-- enough to know that I am destined for someone so much better than a loser like you.
Romeo: Tell me, where is your Prince Charming? (Jennifer gives him an ominous look)

Juliet: We’ve discussed my career, but you never mentioned yours.
Darron: Well, occupations and me have never been able to co-exist synonymously.
Juliet: Are you saying you’re unemployed? (moments pause) How is that possible? I mean, how do you support yourself-- (putting diligently) financially?
Darron: Let’s just say that I’ve done a little espionage in my day.
Juliet: (smiles accordingly, baffled by the response) Okay.
Devon: I have been trying to get the truth out of you ever since I met you and now all of a sudden, you’re ready to tell me the whole story?
Widlin: Well, I realize that this isn’t going away and you’re going to find out the truth sooner or later.
Devon: (a bit agitated) You’re right about that.
Widlin: So why waste time fighting the inevitable?
Devon: You tell me, because up until now that is what you were doing.
***Widlin: You’re right, but I am sick of tearing myself apart trying to preserve the memory of your brother.
Devon: and you expect me to believe that this is the reason you have been lying to me insistently.
Widlin: Sometimes there are things better off left with the deceased.
Devon: Well, I want to know. I want to know exactly how my brother became violent towards you. Was it verbally--
Widlin: (interceding) No, this was physically.
Devon: Are you telling me my brother abused you, because if you are--
Widlin: This was worse than abuse-- (two seconds pause) Your brother tried to rape me. (Devon backs away in astonishment)

Dylan: (sitting on the bench) All right, I’m sitting down.
Anton: Do you remember your cousin, Beau Devereaux?
Dylan: I think I remember you telling me he died in some accident during a stunt you and a friend were doing out at sea.
Anton: Well, that’s what we all thought, at least, me and Karen anyway.
Dylan: (a bit baffled) Are you saying that our cousin isn’t dead?
Anton: (melancholy tone) Yeah, he’s alive and living right here in Hallandale.
Dylan: You don’t sound so thrill.
Anton: I’m not sure what I am. Your cousin has done some pretty sick things since his coming back and I’m hoping we are on our way past that.

Romeo: Don’t tell me-- you haven’t found him yet, probably because you haven’t been looking. Why can’t you just admit that you want me?
Jennifer: (turns her back towards him) You have quite an ego if you think that I have been pining away for you for the last five years. I’ve had bigger and better things on my mind.
Romeo: None that measure up to me, I’m sure.
Jennifer: (scoffs) What is it that you want?
Romeo: (blunt) You! Hopefully, right in bed next to me.
Jennifer: (with a grin) Well, there’s nothing wrong with high hopes.
Romeo: (squints his eyes) Ooh, that’s cold.
Jennifer: Not as cold as your bed is, I’m sure.
Romeo: Is that an inquiry or the sound of envy?

Rachel: I did not latch myself onto your father. I stayed with him out of duty and love; I gave up my children to be with him.
Rochelle: You wouldn’t had to give up any children if you loved him because when you love someone, you don’t open your legs for someone else. (Rachel offended by the vulgarity of her words)
***Rachel: I think you need to calm down and watch your language, I am your mother and I won’t tolerate such disrespect.
Rochelle: I don’t see how you don’t choke on those words?
Rachel: Excuse me?
Rochelle: You talk about disrespect-- you allowed me to become romantically involved with my half-brother.
Rachel: What are you talking about?
Rochelle: I’m talking about Leonard Stone, my brother, the man you allowed me to date on and off for years.
Rachel: I had nothing to do with your game of Russian roulette.
Rochelle: That is not funny.
Rachel: Neither are these ridiculous accusations.
Rochelle: So Leonard Stone is not my brother, is that what you’re saying?

Devon: (unable to say the words due to the impact of her revelation) He tried…he…
Widlin: Look, I don’t blame your brother for what happened, I mean, I knew what Akeira was up to and I didn’t tell him. He had every reason to doubt me and something obviously cracked inside of him because the next thing I knew, he was throwing me down on the sofa-- (Devon has an instant flash of the moment) and placing himself on top of me-- (evokes another flash for Devon) and kissing my neck as I tried to shake him off-- (Devon sees another indistinct flash) Then he just ripped my blouse and said, ‘You think you can turn me on and walk away, I don’t think so.’ At that moment, I was so frightened and just wanted him to stop, to stop him--
Devon: (makes an outburst) Shut up! I can’t listen to anymore of this.
Juliet: What exactly do you mean by espionage? Corporate raiding, trading secrets--
Darron: No, I’ve done some unsavory things to get by in life.
Juliet: Like what? Were you some kind of drug pusher or leader of a prostitution ring?
Darron: No, but I did make my living using innocent people.
Juliet: Using them how?
Darron: I was a scam artist; I seduce rich women and then robbed them blind during the night.

Dylan: I don’t see why you won’t be able to get past things; you’re family and you told me you two were like brothers.
Anton: Well, things have changed since the night I thought he died and I’m not so sure Beau and I will ever be as close as we use to be.
***Dylan: Well, that just sounds so sad and I don’t understand why things would have to be that way.
Anton: You’re right and it’s unfortunate that it has to be this way. Moments in the past have come back to reshape the present.
Dylan: What moments of the past? Is there something you haven’t told me?
Anton: It’s nothing you should concern yourself with.
Dylan: But if it will help me to understand-- (pager beeps)
Anton: Looks like duty calls!

Jennifer: (jerking her head back, shifting her eyes coldly) Neither!
Romeo: (voicing as she paces off to the side) You’re really bringing on that cold shoulder today, aren’t you?
Jennifer: (moving back towards him) I have no romantic interest in you whatsoever, I could care less what you do or who you do it with.
Romeo: Is that right? (moves swiftly in and kisses her, she immediately pulls his lips away from her and reciprocates the unwanted advance with a slap across the face, Romeo then touches his cheek and queries) Are you sure about that?

Rochelle: Come on, I’m waiting. (she looks anxiously toward her mother who remains quiet) I came here for answers, now I want to hear you say it. I want to know, is Leonard Stone my brother?
Rachel: Why ask what you already know. Yes, you have two other brothers-- Leonard and Dean Stone.

Darron: Is it me or did the temperature in here just drop?
Juliet: Well, it’s not everyday you hear the guy you have been dining with has made a profession out of seducing women.
Darron: Well, if you’re worried that I’m--
Juliet: No, it would be pointless anyhow. I’m not exactly wealthy.
Darron: Good, I mean, that you’re sure I am not scamming you because that part of my life is over. It was really great spending time with you.
Juliet: (slightly nervous grin) Well, it was good for me also.
Darron: (reciprocates the grin) Great!
Devon: I am not going to listen to anymore of this, there is no way my brother would try to rape you, no matter what frame of mind he was in.
Widlin: (blocking the exit) He did try to rape me and it was the most horrifying night of my life. (her voice breaks) He threw me down on that sofa and he was ready to take, I just grabbed for the nearest object and clobbered him over the skull.
Devon: (within minutes, the confession arrives at his brain) What did you say?
Widlin: It was me, I killed your brother!
