Widlin Pierre
Widlin is the daughter of rich socialite, Alexander Pierre.  She was also best friends with Malina Ramirez until her secrecy and lies put an eventual end to the friendship.  Of course, the arrival of Widlin's arch-nemesis, Camille Bellows, did not help matters.  Camille made it clear to Widlin that she held all the cards and could destroy her at any time.  If Widlin had any doubts, Camille squashed them by telling Widlin's father (Alexander) that Widlin had slept around while at camp.  Widlin, knowing the truth was far worst, went along with the ridiculous lie, giving Camille the ammunition she needed.  As a result, Camille wasn't about to be stopped by orders from the almighty Alexander Pierre.  However, Widlin would soon turn the tables on the vixen after learning at the Masquerade Ball that Camille was married to clueless and sickingly sweet, Mark Reyes.  Widlin threatened to expose Camille's lies by revealing a tape showing Camille in her devious persona if Camille continued to harass her.  Nevertheless, Camille called her bluff, affirming that Widlin would not risk incriminating herself by showing that tape.  Widlin later vowed that if Camille should cross her again that she would bring her world crashing down.

During the masquerade, Widlin also introduced Malina and company to her boyfriend, Alfonso Morgan.  Analyzing the closeness between them, Malina suspected that Alfonso and Widlin had known each other longer than Widlin had let on.  After learning that Widlin had lied to her, Malina, already torn from the secrets that Widlin had been keeping, decided the end their friendship.  Alfonso was also becoming suspicious of the woman he was dating, and when he tried to get her to open up, she pushed him away and left the party.  Later, both Malina and Alfonso tried to make amends, but Widlin could not accept them back until she found a way to accept and love herself.  Malina, seeing this as a result of Camille's interference, decided to give Camille her comeuppance and informed Mark all about his wife.  It seemed Widlin was finally in the clear-- not.  Yet another one of Widlin's camp pals had come out of the woodworks and this time on the arms of her father.

Widlin was shock to learn that Alexander had been spending his free time with Akeira Smith Santana, a woman who befriended her at camp and later betrayed her.  Widlin informed her father that she was not happy with his choice and suggested Akeira might be after his money, without letting it slip that they knew each other.  Alexander assured her that was not the case, but Widlin knew better.  Akeira, however, used Widlin's past to keep her from saying anything.  It seemed Widlin was caught without a net or a way to get out until she ran into her old friend, Darron Wolek, and finally told someone the deep dark secret that she had been harboring.  She had killed a man 13 years ago after trying to stop him from raping her, a man she revealed to be Ralph Lynchetterette.  With that off her chest, Darron became her new savior and was able to put a stop to Akeira's blackmail attempts, which she did in fear that Alexander would learn the truth.  However, not everyone was thrilled with Widlin's new found relationship with Darron, mainly her father.

Alexander became more overbearing in his daughter love life after his relationship with Akeira fell apart, convincing his daughter that Darron's only interest in her was money.  He later threatened to cut her off financially if she did not call off her relationship with Darron.  Unsure of what to do, she started sneaking behind her father's back with Darron.  When Darron finally caught on to what Widlin was doing -- hurt by the fact that her money was obviously more important than him and that she did not have enough faith in his love -- he called off the relationship.  Distraught, Widlin lashed out at her father and told him to stay out of her life.  Upon moving out of her father's mansion, she had a car wreck and was rescued by Devon Lynchetterette.  Before regaining conscious, Widlin screamed out Devon's brother name and told him to stop, peaking Devon's curiousity.  Since that incident, Widlin was unable to escape the determined Devon and his search for the truth about his brother's death.  After weeks of constant interrogation, Widlin finally confessed that she killed Ralph Lynchetterette, leaving Devon floored.  Recently, Widlin visited her father and told him that the truth was out.  Needless to say, his reaction wasn't very comforting and Widlin left, unable to take anymore.  Needing a breath of fresh air, she enjoyed the cool air of Northern Ridges Park until Devon snuck up on her.  To her amazement, he told her that she could rest easily as he would not be pressing charges. After finding letters that his brother wrote to him and never sent, it became clear to Devon how lost his brother must have been in his final days on Earth.  Pressing charges against Widlin would not change the fact that his brother was dead nor bring him back, but maybe now that he knew what happened, his brother's spirit could rest in peace.  Widlin found it difficult to determine what would be the appropriate thing to say aside from expressing her gratitude, which seemed wrong given the situation.  Devon could see that and advised her not to say anything as it wouldn't change the fact that she killed his brother, accident or not.
