Michelle had it all, the perfect career and the perfect husband.  She was married to CIA Agent Kasey Alvarez and worked as a lead model for Nichol's Beauticon, the leading modeling agency in Hallandale.  Her marriage with her husband was full of respect and honesty, minus her withholding the fact that she was working with her boss, Shaquanna Nichols, to maneuver Widlin Pierre out of the agency.  Michelle, after getting to know Widlin, decided to no longer have any part of the plan as she did not want to risk the lie getting in the middle of her marriage.  Shaquanna, however, didn't let that stop her from trying to bring down Widlin.

A couple days later, Michelle got news that she was schedule to do a photoshoot in Coral Springs, Nevada.  She happily asked Kasey to come along with her because she figured they could use some of the free time to enjoy the sights and after getting some assignments reassigned, Kasey agreed.  In Coral Springs, Kasey and Michelle enjoyed a late night cruise viewing the city with tons of other guests as they intermingled, but tragedy struck when a hired assassin open fired on the ship.  Missing his intended, the gunman fatally wounded Kasey.  Kasey hanged on for few minutes, telling Michelle that he loved her before dying in her arms.  Grief-stricken, Michelle left Coral Springs and returned to Hallandale, where she met up with her half-sister, Danielle.  A couple days later, Michelle got news that Kasey's killer had been apprehended and returned to Coral Springs, this time bringing Danielle along with her.  This is when Michelle met officer Enrique Rivera, who informed her that the hitman, Jonathan Dagos, was refusing to name the people behind his hit.  Michelle tried to coerce him with volatile words, but Jonathan did not crack until Michelle later uncovered info about his younger sister and offered to help if he named names.  Jonathan revealed that he was hired to kill Sandy Reynolds, who was nosing around about Widlin Pierre's past, but before he could revealed who hired him, he succumb to an unsuspecting poison.  Michelle, then with the help of Enrique and Danielle, started snooping around for answers of their own, starting with West Creek Camp.  After several weeks, the pieces of the puzzle started to come together as Michelle and Enrique learned of Brett Delgado's connection to the camp.  As Brett informed his interrogation party of what went down, Denise Sharrington revealed herself and held the gang at gunpoint, demanding a safe passage out of town with the help of Enrique.  With the help of Dana and Matthew, everyone except for Denise escaped alive.  Michelle was not at peace with Denise's death because the real killer, the one who had started this whole mess, was still alive.  She went back to Hallandale and confronted her duplicitous boss, Shaquanna Nichols, giving her an earful, the least of it being her resignation.  The two have not been able to repair their relationship since, despite Michelle finally moving pass her anger towards Shaquanna and opening up her own business, a rival modeling agency.
