Liam Jackson
Liam rolled several heads when he came into town, spearheading the states' case against Rochelle Desmores for the attempted murder of Leonard Stone.  His blood curled at the prospect of putting Rochelle behind bars, which illicited their initial dislike of one another.  However, when it hit the fan that Leonard was not alive, but that his brother, Dean, was actually masquerading as him, the case fell apart.  The charges were null and void, and a case could not be brought up against Rochelle because of the commanding officer's role in the resurfacing of "Leonard"-- Dean.  Surprisingly, after trying to unsuccessfully convict her of attempted murder, a few weeks later, he and Rochelle went out on a date.  It also allowed Rochelle the opportunity to talk about some details in her life that she had not been able to share with anyone else, particularly about her relationship with her mother.  After learning about her connection to Dean and Leonard, Rochelle realized it was time to find her mother and flew off to Coral Springs.  Meanwhile, Liam was left to contend with a very discontent Dean, who was not happy that Kavina got such a light-hearted sentence for murdering his brother.  Although he knew his words were probably in vain, Liam tried to convince Dean that the courts made their decision and he couldn't do anything to change it.

Since Rochelle's return to Hallandale, Liam has been trying to establish something more permanent between him and Rochelle then casual dating.  At the same time, he realizes that Rochelle comes with a lot of baggage from her turbulent relationship with Leonard Stone.  He will soon learn, however, that Rochelle's previous entanglements aren't their only problem.
