Lacreasha was determined to break up Leonard Stone and her best friend, Rochelle Desmores, at all cost.  Why?  Well, no one really knew.  What was clear was that Lacreasha was sure that any closeness between Leonard and Rochelle would later be the biggest regret of their lives.  In an effort to separate the couple, she tried to seduce Leonard, but Rochelle walked in on them before she could succeed.  Lacreasha played the most out of the situation though, trying to pit Leonard and Rochelle against one another, but Rochelle kept calm, focusing all her anger at Lacreasha for coming on to Leonard.  After that botched job, Lacreasha realized that she needed to do something really extreme to keep the two apart and enlisted Kyle Pierre's help in her next scheme.  Ultimately, all Lacreasha had to do was wait because Leonard came crawling to her and forced her (albeit willingly) into a night of passion.  After Rochelle caught them in the act and tore out of the room, Leonard went after her.  However, he was unable to catch up to her and ran into Lacreasha instead.  Inquiring as where she was headed, she told him not to worry and not to follow her.  Curiousity getting the best of him, Leonard did the exact opposite.  His tail of her led him to Kyle Pierre.  When he realized that Kyle was back in town and did not want anyone to know, Leonard tried to quietly make an exit, but was eventually caught due to his racket.  Kyle held him at gunpoint and ultimately shot him, wounding him fatally or so he thought. Leonard had been wearing a fake patch of blood that night and the bullet simply knicked the bag.  Frantic when his body disappeared, Lacreasha and Kyle spent most of the night searching for him.  When Kyle met back up with Lacreasha, he assured her their worries were over as did she.  The next morning, Leonard was found dead and Lacreasha was sure Kyle did away with him as was he that she had done the deed.  When they both realized that neither was the culprit, they wondered who could have done it.  Lacreasha quickly figure it to be Rochelle.  Lacreasha and Kyle then realized that they were in the clear because Leonard was not alive to reveal what he learned, or were they?

The town of Hallandale was in for a shock when Officer Aubrey Capitulous surprised the guest of her interrogation party with a very much alive "Leonard" Stone. However, Lacreasha was not so convinced about Leonard's miraculous recovery and had some doubts.  Her doubts wouldn't become clear until much later when Kyle's curiosity about the contents of the dossier that Lacreasha had on Leonard got the best of him.  Quenching his curiosity, she gave Kyle the set of birth records inside and he was shocked to learn that Leonard and Rochelle were half-siblings and even a shock to Lacreasha was that Leonard had a twin brother, Dean.  Upon realizing this, Lacreasha begin to wonder if Leonard's Doppelganger was, in fact, his twin brother, who had took his place.  She got orders to have Leonard's grave excommunicated and was not surprised to find that his body was still buried.  She immediately rushed to Rochelle's murder trial and revealed the truth.  After careful consideration, the judge dropped all charges against Rochelle, but it did little to repair the rift between Lacreasha and Rochelle.  Soon afterwards, Lacreasha and Kyle begin receiving blackmail threats about their whereabouts the night of Leonard's murder.  The blackmailer was demanding 50 grand in unmarked bills, but Kyle refused to be blackmailed and did not show up at the delivery location that the blackmailer requested.  As a result, the blackmailer made it clear that he/she would expose that Lacreasha and Kyle tried to kill Leonard if they did not meet and exchange the cash.  Kyle, with pleading from Lacreasha, reluctantly agreed to pay off the blackmailer.  It wasn't long after that Lacreasha gathered proof that pointed to Kavina Shah as her blackmailer.  Deciding to confront Kavina with her suspicions, Lacreasha decided to give Kavina a taste of her own medicine and threatened to go to the cops unless Kavina help her destroy HatcherKeller & Associates Investigations.  Kavina called her bluff and declined.  Kavina then retaliated by hiring an on-call goon to rough Lacreasha up.  Kyle was shocked when Lacreasha returned home bruised and beaten up and questioned her about it.  When Kyle offered to report the assault, Lacreasha stopped him, telling him she was sure it was a goon hired by Kavina.  Kyle wondered why Kavina would do such a thing and Lacreasha confessed that Kyle's private investigator dropped off information that proved Kavina was behind the anonymous phone calls and that she was attempting to blackmail her.  Before the couple could finally breathe, they received another anonymous phone call from a man saying that he had pertinent information for the both of them concerning the murder of Leonard Stone. They ultimately decided to meet the man, who revealed that he saw a woman with them on the docks the night Kyle shot Leonard.  The two quickly deduced that it was Kavina and begin tying the pieces together, immediately drawing the conclusion that Kavina murdered Leonard Stone.

Lacreasha and Kyle ran into Dean and Liam, who were both looking for Rochelle, and shared their concerns about Rochelle's safety.  Escaping arrest, they proceeded to Kavina's place, where they discovered Kavina holding Rochelle at gun point.  Kavina was ultimately talked down and then arrested.  Enduring some very hard moments at the trial, Lacreasha finally decided to use the paper that Kyle gave her full reign over to inform the public of the truth about Kavina Shah with Rochelle's help.  It was a bonding moment for the two, but that was quickly squashed when Lacreasha finally revealed to Rochelle that she and Leonard were half-siblings.  Disgusted with Lacreasha for harboring such a secret, Rochelle berated Lacreasha over the coals.  Not taking the verbal assault lying down, Lacreasha exchanged a few choice words as well, declaring that being friends with Rochelle was not worth the hassle.  Rochelle would later come to Lacreasha for the evidence proving that she and Dean were related in an effort to keep the truth from him, but Lacreasha refused to hand it over.  As a result, Rochelle asked Darron to break into Lacreasha and Kyle's home and apprehend it, but Lacreasha and Kyle caught the duo.  After agreeing never to grace the other again, Lacreasha handed over the file to Rochelle.  Kyle, in an effort to get Lacreasha's mind off the last couple of months, decided to lure her away to Paris, where he later proposed marriage. Lacreasha gleefully accepted.  They then informed a small welcoming committee upon returning to Hallandale of the joyous news.
