Kyle Sharrington
The illegitimate son of Alexander Pierre, Kyle is your typical rebel with a cause.  He kept himself hidden- with the aid of Lacreasha Dupree- from the citizens of Hallandale following the cancellation of his engagement to Taneia Ralston.  While undercover, he became Lacreasha's mysterious partner in the breakup of Leonard Stone and Rochelle Desmores, despite never fully understanding Lacreasha's motives.  As Kyle became more involved in Lacreasha's scheme, he grew closer to her, which began to jeopardize his anonymity from the world.  In fact, after Lacreasha triumphantly broke up Rochelle and Leonard's relationship by sleeping with Leonard, she ran gloriously to Kyle.  One problem: Leonard's curiosity got the best of him and he followed Lacreasha right to Kyle, who went ballistic.  Kyle was so determine to keep Leonard silent about his presence in Hallandale that he held the gatekeeper at gun point and shot him.  Shocked by his actions, he quickly flew the scene with Lacreasha.  They later returned to get rid of the body only to discover that Leonard's corpse was gone.  Now it was even more imperative that they find Leonard and stop him.  When they both returned to the spot where they had split up to find Leonard, they both reassured the other that the problem had been taken care of.  The next morning, news of Leonard Stone's murder spread like wildfire, prompting both Lacreasha and Kyle to be elusively protective of the other until they realized that neither of them committed the deed.  With the authorities investigating the murder, it was no longer possible for Kyle to stay underground.  For Kyle, that meant coming face to face with Taneia again, which fortunately for her happen when it did, or she might not be alive today.

With evidence being discovered linking Rochelle to Leonard's attempted murder, it appeared that Lacreasha and Kyle were home free.  No one would know what they almost did that night-- wrong.  After the case against Rochelle fell apart because of Kyle and Lacreasha's discovery that Leonard had a twin brother, who was in fact masquerading as the deceased Leonard Stone, Kyle and Lacreasha's luck took a turn.  Someone begin making threatening phone calls to both of them about their whereabouts that night and what really went down.  At first, Kyle was against giving into the extortion, but when it became clear that the blackmailer meant business, they followed through with the request.  Lacreasha later came across a videotape that revealed Kavina as the blackmailer, a fact that she didn't share with Kyle.  Of course, when Kavina arranged for some thugs to rough Lacreasha up after their confrontation, Lacreasha had no choice, but to tell Kyle what she knew.  Kyle was upset and baffled that she would keep that information from him, but he was even more curious to know how Kavina knew they were on the docks that night and why she was blackmailing them now.  A call from a mysterious man with a surveillance tape from the night of Leonard's murder provided all the answers.  It was then a race against time to find Kavina, who they now believe was the one that killed Leonard, especially after learning from Dean that Rochelle was missing.  Despite being nearly arrested for speeding, they did get to Kavina's in time to witness her about to silence Rochelle forever.  It was the late arrival of Royce and Kendall that got Kavina to turn the gun away from Rochelle, but reactions rose when Kavina turned the gun on herself and came dangerously close to pulling the trigger.

In late December, a trial commence for Kavina, where Kyle and Lacreasha were brought in to testify.  The direction of the trial really upset Lacreasha because it seemed as if the jurors were leaning more and more toward Kavina's ridiculous plea of guilt by emotional duress.  When a verdict was finally reached, things didn't end there.  Lacreasha became wrapped up in fixing things with Rochelle by confessing the truth about why she tried so hard to break up Leonard and Rochelle.  Unfortunately, the truth only further alienated Rochelle away from her.  It became painfully clear to Lacreasha that she would never live up to Rochelle's ideology of a true friend.  Hoping to deflect away from the situation with Kavina and Rochelle, and actually put focus back on their relationship, Kyle arranaged for a flight to Paris shortly after Lacreasha's big reveal, only she was too wrapped up in discontent over what happened with Rochelle to really listen.  Once Rochelle received the final evidence linking her to Dean and Leonard, Lacreasha and Kyle were free to start their lives over.  Thus, the two finally went to Paris.  While in Paris, Kyle proposed to Lacreasha and she happily accepted.  When they both got back from Paris, they received a warm welcome from the staff of Showtime Limits.  A few weeks later, Kyle and Lacreasha's friends joined them for the celebration of their engagement.  It was a night rocked by quite a number of disturbances, but the biggest one came when Kyle's father crashed the party, asking for his son's forgiveness and a chance to start over the right way.  Lacreasha was quick to laugh in Alexander's face, while Kyle was floored by his father's sudden change of pace.  Instead of telling his father where to shove it, he told Alex he couldn't make such a decision right on the spot.
