Juliet was living in Coral Springs, happily involved with Devon Hunter until fate would have them stumble upon the dead body of Ralph Lynchetterette.  Devon's attention was instantly diverted to trying to find out what came of his friend.  As Juliet became more anxious about where they were going in their relationship since Devon had promised for the longest time that they would get out of small town Coral Springs, Devon asked her to move with him to Hallandale.  However, Devon fail to mention that part of his reasons for moving there was to make sure Enrique Rivera continued to investigate his brother's death.  Juliet would soon learn of that motive and in desperate act for his attention, had a one-night stand with a man she picked up from a bar.  Needless to say, it got his attention, but only for a short while.  After a while, Juliet grew tired of being shoved aside and decided to have Devon investigated in an effort to understand his relationship with Ralph, which were raising quite a number of red flags in her head.  However, when the PI finished the search on Devon, Juliet got a double whammy when she learned that Devon's last name was actually "Lynchetterette" and he was Ralph's older brother.  Of course, now Devon's devotion to the case made a lot more sense in her head, but she couldn't understand why he would lie to her about his identity.  When Devon returned home later that night, she greeted him wih a cold reception before finally signaling that she knew everything by calling him out by his real name.  Although he tried to explain his reasons for lying, she could not hear them since she could barely recognize the man she thought she knew and fell in love with.  The tension in the relationship escalated as the weeks went by and despite Devon's many attempts to rebuild his romantic life with Juliet, she had made it quite clear to him she had no room for his love.  Ultimately, Devon decided to end both of their misery and moved out. Juliet thought it would make her happy, but it only depressed her even more.

It would be months before Juliet would reintroduce herself back into the world.  With a new spin on life, she began coming on to recently single Darron Wolek, who by no means was looking for another relationship, but has been baited by the lively woman.
