Jennifer Everestt
Jennifer is the daughter of tenacious cop, Aubrey Capitulous, and Congressman Giovanni Everestt.  She came to Hallandale with her father to visit with her mother, who had went awol once again to solve another criminal case.  Jennifer resented her mother for putting her career first before her and her father, or so that's how Jennifer looked at the situation.  Rebelling against her mother, Jennifer moved out from under her mother's roof and in with Brian Fieldings and Dylan McCloud.  She and Brian quickly became friends and got really close.  Shortly after moving in with Brian and Dylan, Jennifer begin receiving terrorizing messages.  To make matters worse, she later learned that her father had been shot in Richmond Valleys during a peace riot and was paralyzed from the waist down.  Upset over her father's situation, she lashed out at her mother for caring more about her career and not enough about her husband.  She would return to Hallandale days later to discover that Dylan had been behind the terrorizing messages.  Naturally, she wanted answers as to why, but Dylan refused to divulge them, which only infuriated her.  When things finally got too unbearable at the mansion, Jennifer went back to Richmond Valleys to visit her father, only to learn that he had regained movement in his legs, and that he and Aubrey were back together.  After nearly losing Giovanni, Aubrey decided her job wasn't that important and quit, moving back to Richmond Valleys.  Jennifer was speechless by the sudden decision, but definitely made her feelings clear when Aubrey asked for Jennifer to move back in with them.  Jennifer outright refused and left Richmond Valleys, never looking back.  She and her mother haven't spoken since.

Back in Hallandale, Jennifer continued to pursue the truth from Dylan once his girlfriend, Garrett, moved out.  However, when Dylan walked out on her in the midst of his apparent confession, Jennifer gave up trying to get answers.  She also kept her distance from him despite continuing to live under the same roof and disapproved greatly when Brian started to warm up to Dylan (although that was primarily in favor to Garrett, who asked Brian to keep an eye out for Dylan).  When Dylan later tried to confide in Jennifer about his actions, she refused to listen and days later, received the shock of her life when her ex- boyfriend, Romeo Sullivan, showed up in Hallandale. Jennifer expressed her immediate distaste upon seeing her ex, recalling vividly his affair with her aunt as she told him she despised him.  She said the words with such intensity that Romeo believed there was a part of her still very much in love with him, the part that kept her single and available for the past four years.  Despite countless denials, Jennifer finally succumbed to a night of passion with Romeo - actually, the same night her good friend Brian realized his true feelings for her.  The next morning for Jennifer was one of confusion as she told Romeo that what happened between them could never happen again.  Romeo, however, refused to let her push him away after the night they shared.  Later, she tells her friend, Nia, that she and Romeo had sex.  When Jennifer is unable to piece together how it all happened, Nia advises her to sort out her feelings for Romeo.  Before she can get the chance, Romeo surprises her with another visit and the two end up spending another night together.  This time, Brian catches them after the act and it makes for some awkward conversation as Brian had hoped to tell Jennifer how he felt.  But how could he with Jennifer standing there in front of him in another man's shirt?  So he quickly departed from the mansion after sharing some strong words with Jennifer.  Unable to get her confrontation with Brian out of her head, Jennifer found it hard to focus on being with Romeo, especially since part of her still didn't know why she was with him.  As a result, she asked him to leave so that she could sort out her feelings once and for all.

In the days followng, Brian finally got up the nerve to tell Jennifer how he felt.  She was both surprised and flattered by his confession, but didn't see it working between them considering the state of her relationship with Romeo.  As such, she tried to turn him down gently, hoping that things could remain the same between them.  Brian, however, didn't see that as a possibility now that they both knew how he felt about her.  Furthermore, he couldn't stick around with these feelings and watch her with Romeo knowing that he would long for it too be him.  So in a move that surprised Jenni even more, Brian told her he was moving out to spend time in Oakridge with his family.  With Brian gone and things still up in the air between her and Romeo, Jennifer once again turned to her friend, Nia, for advice.  After hearing that Jennifer allowed herself to be seduced by Romeo once again, Nia suggested that she might not be over him and that she should take control of the relationship.  Jennifer acknowledged that Romeo had been in control since he arrived in Hallandale, even when she thought she was sure of her undying hatred for him.  Unfortunately, the situation with her and Brian wouldn't be as easy to solve.
