Greg Juntas was the golden child of the Juntas/Nichols family.  He was the one that could do no wrong (unlike his cousin, Shaquanna) because he was always working hard, whether it be academics or volunteering.  He graduated on the top of his class from Howard U., and went on to become a successful, well-sought after cardiologist in Washington, D.C.  When he moved to Springfield, Mass., he gave up the fast paced world of cardiology for a 3-year stint as a physical therapist at Springfield Medical.  In his final year, he would help rehabilitate Jessica Chappell, who lost her unborn child, as well as functionality of her legs following a horrific car accident in Hallandale.

Through Jessica's recovery, Jessica and Greg would become close friends, much to her husband's chagrin. Jessica would then end her recovery early, determined to return home to Hallandale and gather her things from her and William's home.  Greg would follow since Jessica was still gaining full control of her legs.  It would turn out to be a good thing as Jessica's husband was slowly starting to spin out of control.  When the situation between Jessica and William turned violent, Greg was the one who tried to encourage her to go to the cops.  Jessica, unfortunately, was too frigten to do so and tried to convince herself that the situation with William was a one-time thing. 

When she later disappeared, Greg became suspicious and went to Taneia for help.  Taneia, not a huge fan of Jessica, believed it was a ploy for attention, but when it turned out that Romain Chandler had disappeared as well, the two pooled their resources together.  After bringing William to justice for illegally imprisioning Romain and Jessica, life remained pretty quiet for Jessica and Greg.  Greg officially joined the staff of Leysdale Hospital, returning to his field of cardiology.  The remaining of his on-screen time would be spent with his cousin, Shaquanna, who he became very strict with following the revelation that she hired a PI to dig up dirt on Widlin Pierre.

By the end of the fourth season, the character was written off.
