Brian Fieldings
Brian grew up believing he was the product of rape, which fueled his long-standing antagonistic relationship with his father, Darron Wolek.  When his mother married Alejandro Gomez, Brian (then age 14) left town with his mother and stepfather to start anew.  After nearly five years, his mother encouraged Brian to visit with Darron, hoping that the years away had given Brian ample opportunity to put aside his feelings of animosity toward his father.  Unfortunately, that was not the case and Darron was no longer interested in playing the role of the bad guy.  One night, after much hesitation, Darron callously revealed to Brian that his deepest desires were true -- he was not Brian's father.  Furthermore, his biological father's true identity was a complete mystery.  Feeling his world crashing around him, Brian lashed out at his mother for feeding him all those lies regarding his parentage and angrily stormed out of Darron's apartment into the dark of night. While aimlessly roaming the streets of Hallandale, Brian met the fair headed, Jennifer Everestt, who was dealing with her own collection of problems.  The two bonded that night over their messed up parents and helped each other realize that they could not run away from their problems.  Now that Brian knew the truth about his parentage, Carmen (his mother) had to break the news to her husband, whom she had also kept in the dark.  Not wanting Brian around when she broke the news, Carmen insisted that Brian stay in Hallandale a little longer.  He reluctantly agreed, but not under the same roof as Darron.  He decided to look for a place of his own, but ultimately settled for a vacant mansion that was looking for house guests.  To Brian's delight, his choice led him to Jennifer Everestt, who was also looking to move in.  She and Brian became instant friends.

Life was relatively calm in the mansion for a little while, but then strange things started occuring.  Someone begin terrorizing Jennifer with spooky ghost tricks and then went as far as delivering her dead body parts.  Brian soon begin to suspect his roommate Dylan of being behind the random happenings, but he could not prove it.  The proof soon came to him in the form of Frankie Lancaster, who was so guilt ridden over what he almost did to Garrett Michaels that he confessed to Brian that Dylan hired him to terrorize Jennifer.  Dylan tried to counteract the accusations, but Garrett's arrival forced him to admit everything that he had done.  Unable to live with what Dylan had done, Garrett moved out, asking Brian to keep an eye on him.  As a result, Brian put aside his animosity and encountered a backlash from Jennifer, who wasn't as ready to forgive Dylan for his actions.  Jennifer eventually moved past it, but the trouble for her and Brian was just beginning when she learned that her high school boyfriend was in town, determined to make up for his mistakes.  Romeo's reappearance into Jennifer's life had unearthed feelings she thought she successfully buried.  It had also awaken Brian's eyes to the truth about his friendship with Jennifer.  Brian soon realized that his anger concerning Jennifer's relationship with Romeo was actually envy and jealousy because he was in love with her.  After several days of carrying around the truth, he finally followed Darron and Garrett's advice and admitted how he felt to Jennifer.  Jennifer, who was shocked and flattered by the revelation, informed him that she was still trying to make sense of her relationship with Romeo and could not possibly consider being with him.  His hopes being dashed, Brian informed Jennifer he would be leaving town to clear his head.
