A. Ramsey-Lakhan
Born Armann Ramsey-Lakhan, Armann had his first name legally changed to "A." to celebrate the completion of his law degree and commence his new career as the powerful and ruthless lawyer he is known as today.  During the early stages of his career, he married fellow law graduate, Joy Gannon, whom he dated for two years while in law school.  While A. loved his wife, his career ambitions were far more important and the newlyweds divorced in less than a year.  Armann would later turn up in Hallandale as Jessica Chappell's mysterious nude swimmer from the Hallandale Pier.  He continued to intrigue the doctor with his speedy visits and mysterious disappearances.  Unfortunately, Jessica's mystery man soon unearthed her biggest nightmare when she learned that he was representing her ex-husband, William Arlington, in his [William's] fight for probation. When Jessica later asked for his reasons, Armann explained that William had a right to counsel.  Jessica, however, found it distasteful that A. could represent a man whom they both knew was guilty, and wrote him off as someone not deserving of a second chance.  The two continue to have heated confrontations regarding the obvious chemistry between them and William's upcoming case.
