His other son, Kyle, would be conceived from an on-going dalliance he had with Denise Sharrington while married to his wife, Sasha. When Denise gave birth to Kyle, Sasha saw him and the mother as a constant reminder of her husband's misdeeds. Determined to appease his wife, Alexander paid off Denise to leave town with his son. For this reason, Kyle and Alexander's relationship remained very hostile for years. In lue of his son's engagement to Lacreasha, Alexander sought to make amends with his son.

As a result, the two split up, despite several attempts by Sandy to put them back together.
The Mysteries of Our Lives is an online scripted drama written and produced by E. Ty Junior. The series debuted on March 5, 2001 in e-mail distribution only. It would transition to the web about a month or so later. During most of the first season, the series revolved around the tortured romance of Leonard Stone and Rochelle Desmores. Few people in Hallandale understood her magnetic attraction to Leonard Stone after his countless affairs. It seemed no matter how many times he strayed, and she broke things off, the two would find their way back together.
As the series opens, Leonard is determined to keep his overactive libido in check and remain faithful to Rochelle. However, Rochelle's best friend, Lacreasha Dupree, is determined to keep the two apart and decides to arrange for Rochelle to walk in on her seducing Leonard, despite what consequences may befall their own friendship. When Rochelle discovers the two in the process of intercourse, Rochelle is livid with the both of them. Although she realizes Lacreasha masterminded the whole setup, she is unable to get past the inevitable what if's and dumps Leonard. Her friendship with Lacreasha becomes shattered beyond repair, especially after Rochelle discovers her best friend and Leonard in the sack, squashing any hopes she had of renewing either relationship. Shortly following, a series of events would lead to Leonard's untimely murder.
In latter seasons, the series would focus more on its supernatural roots, following closely with Dana Lombard, Matthew "Matt" Pryce, and Crystal Perez, who would play a bigger role later despite being a core character, and one of the first to explore her visions of second sight. Matt, youngest brother of Earl Pryce (former business partner of Crystal), saw life through a different set of eyes at a very young age, being guided through his dreams against the evils of the world. His brother, however, was not a believer in things other worldly, and did his best to squash Matthew's belief in there existing a greater power out there that people could tap into.
When Matthew met beautiful, tarot-toting Dana, he finally found validation in his greater power. Together, the two were able to channel their gifts and become instrumental in bringing down Denise Sharrington, a mob boss responsible for the accidental assassination of Michelle Dientez Alvarez' husband, Kasey. Denise Sharrington was also Kyle Sharrington-Pierre's biological mother, and romantically connected with Alexander Pierre before he decided to recommit himself to his wife, running Denise and a then young infant Kyle out of Hallandale. Kyle would never receive one ounce of love or acceptance from his father, and essentially become parentless following his mother's death. He would discover a deeper, more satisfying love with partner-in-crime, Lacreasha.
Following the showdown with Denise Sharrington in Coral Springs, Dana and Matt became very curious about the ancestral root of their gifts, which resulted in them paying a visit to Matt's hometown. It was there they would locate the book of "Special Souls," which identified their respective parents as a coven of a three - his father, her mother, and to their surprise, Kristina Perez (Crystal's mother). Up until that point, neither knew Crystal possessed the same gift that they did, especially since Crystal's heighten psychic awareness became dormant following the hospital bombing that resulted in her having to undergo reconstructive surgery to her face.
In an effort to find Crystal, the two returned to Hallandale just in time for the grand opening of her new business venture (CF&A) with Billy Clyde. When they located Crystal, she was on the rooftop of CF&A with Billy, but the couple wasn't alone. To their horror, Matt and Dana spotted a dark figure on an adjoining roof, aiming a loaded gun at Crystal and Billy. Despite hearing Matt and Dana's cry for their attention, Billy was unable to avoid the path of the vengeful bullet. Due to the severity of Billy's condition, it would be months before Matt and Dana finally confided in Crystal about what they discovered.
